Current release applies starting March 2, 2026
Murmr is a visual AI application designed to help users explore virtual home decoration ideas by transforming room photos into styled interior layouts. This document explains how information is handled when you interact with Murmr’s features.
Its purpose is to clearly describe:
· what information is involved when images are uploaded,
· how AI processing operates inside the application,
· how user content remains controlled by the user,
· and the safeguards applied throughout processing.
Using Murmr indicates that you understand how data is handled as described here. If these practices are not acceptable to you, you should discontinue use of image-based features within the app.
Murmr operates only when users voluntarily provide room photographs.
Images may include:
· interior environments,
· furniture arrangements,
· architectural structures,
· or incidental personal elements appearing in the scene.
Uploaded images are treated strictly as complete visual scenes. Murmr does not separate objects or interpret identity-related characteristics within the photo beyond what is required to generate interior layout simulations.
Images are used solely to produce requested design visualizations.
All visual analysis and generation processes occur within Murmr’s internally managed AI environment.
Specifically:
· No external AI platforms are used.
· Images are not transmitted to third-party model providers.
· Processing is limited to generating selected furniture style layouts.
The system analyzes spatial structure only to create design variations and does not evaluate personal identity or behavioral information.
Murmr does not sell, disclose, distribute, or grant access to user-uploaded images or generated outputs to any third party.
This includes:
· advertising networks,
· analytics providers,
· external AI services,
· data brokers,
· or independent partners.
User content remains confined to Murmr’s internal operational environment and is never shared for external use.
Room photos may occasionally contain people or visible faces as part of the environment. Murmr does not treat these elements as data categories.
Murmr does not:
· perform facial recognition,
· extract facial features,
· create biometric identifiers,
· analyze identity,
· store facial templates,
· or track individuals across images.
Any faces appearing in uploaded photos are processed only as incidental visual components within the overall image.
During generation, temporary computational data may be created to complete rendering tasks.
This temporary information:
· exists only during active processing,
· is automatically removed once results are generated,
· is not retained as backup copies,
· requires no manual deletion by users.
Murmr does not maintain hidden duplicates of processing data.
After generation, images and resulting designs may remain visible within the app so users can review or manage their projects.
Users maintain full control and may:
· delete uploads,
· remove generated layouts,
· clear their project history at any time.
Deletion permanently removes associated content from accessible storage.
Murmr may request limited device permissions necessary for functionality, such as:
· access to photos for image selection,
· storage access for saving generated designs.
Permissions are used strictly to enable requested features and can be revoked through device settings at any time.
Image processing occurs only when initiated by the user.
By uploading a room photo and selecting a design style, you explicitly authorize Murmr to process the image internally for the purpose of generating visual layout results.
No background analysis occurs without user action.
Murmr applies reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect content during transmission and storage, including controlled system access and encrypted communication channels where applicable.
While absolute security cannot be guaranteed, practices are designed to minimize exposure risks.
Murmr is intended for users aged 17 years or older. The application is not designed for children, and the service does not knowingly process content from individuals below this age threshold.
Murmr may adjust its privacy practices as features evolve or legal obligations change. When revisions occur, updated wording will replace earlier versions within the application interface.
Continued use of Murmr after revisions signifies acceptance of the updated practices.
For privacy-related questions or requests concerning image handling or content control, you may contact us.Messages are reviewed individually, and responses aim to clarify how Murmr manages user information within the scope of its services.
